My name is Ryan, I’ve been writing on this blog since 2011. I write about a wide range of topics including Science, Technology, Politics, Innovation, and recently Depression. I believe that for science and technology to be successful in moving society forward, it must be ethical and be inclusive of all people. It’s only through society together can we improve our lot in life.

I have a Master’s Degree in Innovation Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. Innovation Sciences is a Dutch degree that focuses looks at technology through the lens of economics and societal changes. I believe that it is a powerful way to look at how businesses are run and how politicians act. People do not act in a vacuum, they act based on their biases and political identities. Just because something is the default, doesn’t mean that it’s apolitical. Politics infuse just about everything that we do.
