McKay has crossed the rainbow bridge

My dog McKay was an amazing friend. She was an independent girl that did her own thing. If you weren’t doing something she was interested in, then she’d go off on her own. She was great to hug. She stepped on my balls, but was as gentle as she could be about it. She knew she hurt me, but wanted to climb on me anyway. She’d often hug me after. She’d put her arms on my shoulders and just chill there. Some time for 30 minutes or as long as I’d let her.

She loved to go to the delta or running off leash in the woods. My favorite story about that was the time she tried to chase down a deer, when we were living in Austin.

I’m devastated by her loss. It hurts so bad. She was a precious girl. The world is a sadder place without her in it.

  1. I’m so sorry. Knowing Grace and peace for both of you.
